About Us
The company Indian Feather was created for those of us who like the good old fashioned things in life…. Fruit that really smells like fruit, eggs with bright yolks, and toys that don’t break the moment you get them out of the box!
Sascha Jones (founder of Indian Feather), believes that toys should be wonderful simple pieces made from natural fibres that are timeless and can be passed down through the generations.
The beautiful smell and feel of natural wood, the wonderful texture of a hand knitted toy and the beauty that comes from knowing that these treasured timeless pieces have a history, means far more than a nursery full of plastic toys containing harmful toxins.
Sascha has designed and sourced quality, natural eco-friendly products from all over the globe. The products are a selection of handmade and organic toys, clothing and accessories sourced from Fair Trade communities.
There are wooden toys from Korea, 100% wool felt toys and snuggle blankets from Nepal, hand knitted wool toys from Kenya and organic cotton baby fisherman’s pants from Thailand. For more information on some of these communities please click here.

Sascha’s Hopes
It is my hope that we could all live more simply.
That we slow down and get back to what’s important in life….. family... friendships...and our children.
That we can be happy with who we are, and where we're at....
To simplify our lives, avoid large shopping complexes and remember to breathe.......big beautiful breaths of fresh life giving air…..!!!!
Try and enjoy the simple pleasures… such as going for a walk with our children (without any time frame….or checking our mobile phones) looking for fairies in the garden, studying the beautiful design on a leaf or the wonderful colours on a piece of bark.
Get back to reading books, cloud watching and making sand castles….
To just be in the moment….right here, right now… and savouring the precious moments with our children, and learning from them, the wonderful art of being in the present.- Sascha Jones (Director)
